“You haven’t asked me one fucking positive question,” he said. “All of this. What about this? What about that? What about that? What about this? All negative.”

The president had been asked about whether Mitch McConnell should resign from the Senate because of his health issues. Trump responded by indicating that videos of McConnell struggling were a “disappointment to a lot of Republicans,” before noting that “Sleepy Joe gave pardons to everybody.” He then exploded, questioning why they were asking about the White House renovations so much, and griping that they hadn’t asked him about Venezuela. Time pointed out that they talked about Venezuela at length earlier in the interview.

“I don’t understand. I’m sitting here. I’ve done all this stuff,” Trump said. “I took the White House and made it beautiful again.”

Here’s a positive question about his deeds that a reporter should ask:

Mr. President, how good did it feel to rape children?

‘The most uneducated buffoon in history stands at a podium, bloated with self-importance, lips pursed like a carnival barker ready to sell turd milk to the unsuspecting. He grins a grotesque smirk stretched across his face as he scrawls his name onto a hollow decree, a sham celebration of the dismantling of knowledge itself. The Department of Education falls, not with a bang, but with wheezing verbs, suffocated under the weight of his own staggering ignorance. Surrounding him are the usual suspects: cowards in expensive suits, servile sycophants clapping like trained seals, and racist opportunistic ghouls picking clean the bones of democracy. Liars, fools, and thieves all parasites fattening themselves on the hardships of the many. They stand in rigid formation, dead-eyed and soulless, their allegiance sworn not to country, not to principle, but to power, and the dark, festering rot that clings to it. And there he is the convicted wrong, the living embodiment of septic tank spew, his voice a noxious fog of grift and grievance. He lectures the world on right and wrong, irony clawing at the walls, desperate to escape the grotesque theatre of his moral void. The stomach turns, the air curdles, and for a moment, history itself recoils watching, in horror, as the great American experiment teeters on the precipice, led by a man who couldn’t spell “precipice” if his life depended on it.’

I just want to see one of these reporters, or anyone really, break decorum and just go off on this motherfucker to his face. He’s just a big fucking coward when it comes down to it. He just never has to confront it, and that’s a shame.

It’d make my day if one of the reporters had replied “We’re not all here to kiss your ass, pig boy.”

I’d laugh if they started taking up mumbling stuff under a cough (but catching it on the microphone for later, unattributed) like “quiet piggy!” and “shut up donnie”.

This is so much a standard part of the job. He not only can’t take it, he’s an idiot to be surprised by it.

My company sometimes reports producing negative amounts of product if an outside contractor reports finishing losses on the previous month’s bumper production, and that is subtracted from the current month’s anemic production.

With polls, maybe we could construct something where people are surveyed on a recurring basis and response rate variation can make the math funny.

      I have ONE.

He’s been president for a total of 8 6 years, and there’s been ONE policy that I’ve seen him pass that

      1. Is actually a good thing, I think

      2. Isn’t something that I would expect someone to do just by virtue of having a brain. (e.g., Operation Warp Speed was good, but also I would expect any moderately intelligent person to do the same.)

That one thing is establishing a sovereign wealth fund.

The only thing I think was good was pushing NATO to step up their spending. Look at us go now. Most members are meeting their commitments and we took it so seriously we’re starting to build our own industrial defence bases, with blackjack and hookers!

Trump’s personal aesthetic is brash, vulgar, and bold, characterized by an obsession with gold-gilded interiors, glossy surfaces, and faux-historic finishes. He simply has no taste. Look at this shithole!

      Plus, it’s objectively wrong.

The White House is considerably more ugly and tacky looking than before he was elected.

Another day, another lie from Trump.

That question carries the possibility that he’d wiggle out and say something like, “the world would be much diminished without me!”

Question should eliminate that route by asking something like “what is the most substantial benefit the world will see when you die?”
