I’m from space!

Mmm. Chunks.

My big problem is that Lemmy lacks sizable niche communities right now. The big topics get foot traffic, but the small stuff struggles.
Strangely enough, I used to research this. I used to work for a grocery delivery company and we’re travel around to learn how people fed themselves in different parts of the worlds.
For North America and Europe, the big difference was among people in major cities, vs rural or suburban areas. The grocery, transportation infrastructure, and housing stock are often very very different. And that changes how people eat.
City shoppers = smaller, more frequent, shopping trips that cover the day or week.
Outside of the city = more need / opportunities to “stock up” and buy in bulk.

A dead dog in a closet. What the fuck.
That broccoli top

They won’t. The GOP has always struggled to displease their father figure.
Is that the “just fuck my shit up” guy’s hair?

And this guy apparently does fire arms training. God help anyone getting lessons from this ass hat at the range.

I grew up in a family full of cops and as a kid / teenager I was taken around on ridealongs in the 80s / 90s with family members. I’d be shocked if that’s kosher now, but I’m glad it was something I got to experience back in the day.
I will never forget watching cops just get out of the way and let a person of interest or suspect drive off. They’d do that, and like clockwork, say “no one outruns Motorola.” (Motorola was the wireless giant at the time.) It wasn’t worth putting lives at risk when you could just knock on that person’s door at a later date.
This guy wasn’t doing anything by the book. He was escalating, approaching a moving vehicle, he had his firearm in hand, etc. People are literally trained NOT to do everything this guy did. It puts everyone at risk. The officer, the driver, bystanders, etc.

These morons think this proves they’re right. Vance retweeted the video as said this
“Watch this, as hard as it is,” Vance wrote. “Many of you have been told this law enforcement officer wasn’t hit by a car, wasn’t being harassed, and murdered an innocent woman. The reality is that his life was endangered and he fired in self defense.”

Coworker of mine just bought one. The ranger handed it to them face down on the desk. Lol.

The fact that they immediately started pushing a narrative about her motivations is enough to know that everything out of their mouths is in bad faith.
That’s not how any proper law enforcement agency handles something like this.

Indian independence, South African end of apartheid, Philippines end or Marcos, US civil rights movement, and I could go on. We have plenty of examples where protests, strikes, and civil disobedience were the main catalyst for change, not a violent resistance movement.

What are you doing?

Lots of are organizing and pushing back. Let’s not assume every American is accepting fascism lying down.
And even if you’re not protesting and organizing neighborhood ICE watches, sharing these stories is also important. Especially since right wing media censorship is increasing in the US. People need to know what’s happening in order to be mad about it.

lol, who is the one person downvoting technology advancements designed to help the blind?
The people on the ground won’t do this. The people working in the parks hate Trump.
They issue these cards face down in the desk.
