Be the change you want to see in the world.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

He probably beats his wife.

Only if it’s more than a yard deep.

It’s metastasizing. There must really be big profit and privacy-invading upsides for MS in this whole mess, since it sure as shit is not being driven by consumer demand.

So maybe now Melanoma can start composing shitty, longwinded operas to glorify Trump, like Jiang Qing did for Mao.

Or maybe your son was lucky.
He’s had to swim against the current for years, through multiple wrong turns and dead ends. He’s got an intense personality and was resistant to playing the necessary games to get ahead. But over time, he’s become more pragmatic. So yeah, there may have been some luck involved, but being first in his class helped too. (And is it luck to have been born smart? To have persistence? To have a supportive family?)
My other two kids (older) also got jobs in the fields they did their degrees in. In my daughter’s case, two of 30 people in her graduating class with the same degree as her actually found work in their field and remained employed in it a year later. Her take: “They’re bougie kids who expected zero-pressure jobs with no deadlines.”
Regardless, the CEO comes across as a self-serving, smug greedhead, and I suspect his messaging is not intended to benefit anyone but himself.

In short, recruiting companies are parasitic middlemen.

No need to wait. The elected Democrats can vote them out of their leadership positions now.

Those weren’t tearstains.

The promise of a payment by Trump is not the same as a payment.

…and no science to back it.

It would certainly rid the world of an excessive blob of fat.

Let it be soon, and horribly painful.

Even delusions of adequacy would be ill-founded in his case.

They’re not transferrable. What, is he going to scratch her name off and scribble his on with a Sharpie? What an idiot.

That money will never be paid, even if the Greenlanders are suckered into it.

As long as MAGA exists, it already is a shithole.

Verbal fluency is not literacy.

Spanish-speaking immigrants are often also illiterate in Spanish. It’s a big challenge for educators. My kids are bilingual (not in Spanish) and their teachers perceived that as a problem. It wasn’t.
And there are other immigrants who are better educated and more fluent in English than 99% of Americans.
And there are degrees of literacy. All of that 21% are not fully illiterate, they’re below a standard that this institute defined. Still shameful, but not catastrophic.
“Ties”-- being from the same country, or maybe an adjacent one.
