    Captain! A sea mine!

No worries!, plow a head! We got rid of our…

    Powpfffffffplopcaboooooom! Pffffffsssshhhhh! Spluffff! Pfkaptffff! Swish…

Oh there you are! I was saying that we got rid of our…why can I see thru you? Where are my legs? But I’m walki…moving without my…where are my hands? I’m gone!

Boss! Looks like we’re dead. There’s the big light over there, let’s go. Oh hey, Hey! Mr Epstein! So is that guy a pedo?

Yes, yes he is, but nobody is a pedo here. It turns out that earth is just a soul torturing place and when you’re done you become free of anything. There’s no age in the eternal.

Wow, oh I see, I can’t feel anger and I don’t feel sadness either. So we were just doing a play?

Yeah, its a thing the gods do with us for their entertainment. Well somebody does it we assume. And speaking of the devil, looks like I gotta go down there again. One last thing, you are me and I’m you. We all are each other. Time is relative. Anyway, now I’ll be an autistic girl for 25 years. Yeah she gets run over by a Tesla. Not that Tesla, this is an AI Tesla after the robots too over in 2035. I didn’t tip again… Cuz I’m autistic and that’s just principle. Gotta go get born!

It would be awesome if we just did it anyways. Tho Danielle Smith would run with it in the dumbest way possible.

Carney has made it clear his priority is establishing Canadian economic dominance. Perhaps when Canada holds more cards he will leverage them to intervene in Gaza. Perhaps.

Normally I’d say “isn’t that a silly question?”

But considering the guys running this war are a drunk TV show host and an octogenarian TV show host with dementia, I could totally see them just bombing random ships for fun.

After all, it makes them feel like a big boy and it’s the peasants’ kids that get to endure the consequences.

My favorite bit from Spy magazine (which first called Trump a “short-fingered vulgarian” back in the '80s) was when they published an errata and apologized for calling Trump a “short-fingered Bulgarian” – the apology was to Bulgaria.

The narrative war has shifted, because “mass media” can now be targeted to a specific audience/person.

In days of old, the narrative needed consistency. It needed dignity. It needed to survive the scrutiny of swing voters as well as the hardcore base. But now, the narrative shifts from person to person. A conservative Republican voter might see articles about how Trump is cutting taxes for businesses, but they won’t hear much about the very real concerns - corruption, pedophilia, mental health issues.

And since AI can generate article after article, there’s never a lack of propaganda for people like this. They happily scroll their newsfeed, believing every lie.

I couldn’t, at least not until several years more of their regime. Israel, on the other hand, got away with flagrantly drone bombing a Gaza bound humanitarian fleet even while it was docked in a foreign country. They would totally false flag attack anyone who actually agreed to expel their ambassadors for passage.

It’s a meme made in reference to Baldur’s Gate 3 character Shadowheart.

There are times (idk if it’s been patched out or not but was a thing at release) where Shadowheart would “disapprove” of certain dialogue choices made during what are supposed to be private scenes between you and another character, most notably one scene where you and said other character wander off into the woods for some sexy times.

Thus, the meme of Shadowheart spying on you from the bushes while judging your actions.

GCC US colonial bases are completely destroyed to point, where they are unlikely to be rebuilt. Trump’s threat of pure terrorism on Iran infrastructure puts GCC infrastructure and survivability at retaliatory risk, with US utterly incapable or unwilling to divert defensive resources away from Zionazi master.

I’m unsure if quote is real, but GCC needs to, if not outright ally with Iran, assert their full neutrality and disinvest from US and Israel, arrest and deport all US military, seize any remaining equipment, join BRICS and SCO. A worse betrayal to humanity by Zionazi axis terrorist strikes, means desperate measures by GCC to save themselves from Iran, as a bigger threat than Israeli black flag intimidation.

Trump’s escalating desperation rhetoric from Yesterday, should be framed as setting up the total annihilation of Gulf ally metropolises and directly threatening their financialization of US economy, and westernish real estate wealth in the region.

Trade ships will redirect at even the threat of being met with any confrontation. It is not worth the risk. Iran doesn’t need a Navy to do this either. They need a couple dudes with AKs in a speedboat.

For more info. Just look at Yemen’s blockade as an example.

Ships aren’t gonna risk massive payloads. Insurance won’t cover the loss either.

Yep. Which is why I’m really confused by the reports of them “mining” it today. I’m really wondering if it’s just a fake “win” the US is trying to manufacture.

Maybe they are trying to do it. But it doesn’t make sense at all with their messages of allowing passage to states that boot US and Israeli ambassadors. Even if the mines can be deactivated it still doesn’t make sense strategically for Iran to do that.

Was watching the reporting live with CBS saying that Iran was placing mines. Then Trump gets on and says we stopped them from doing it. Just doesn’t add up at all.

As for the mine claims, I think it’s that Iran knows how our chickenshit post-industrialized vibe economy works. Just claiming they’ve mined the strait is causing the market to shit it’s pants regardless of it it’s true or not.

The Straits are 20 miles at the narrowest. they can hit ships with artillery. Plus they also have drones, which they’ve been using to hit over ten oil tankers since the illegal war began

Oil tankers tend to be a pretty risk-averse group. They’re not going to risk getting hit and having their multi-million dollar cargo go up in flames, even if the risk of getting hit while transiting the strait is relatively low.

Considering it has signficantly affected oil prices. Yes.

A large amount of ships are currently stuck in the persian gulf. A significant portion of this is because they do not want to take the risk. The threat is enough to be effective but Iran is also enforcing it.

I read somewhere that Iran can close the strait without a full-scale naval engagement using selective drone strikes and harassing vessels, Iran triggers a spike in maritime insurance premiums which will choke shipping companies. Also because of the narrow width of the strait, also shallow, Iran can use mines, they have both simple contact mines to sophisticated “smart” mines, apparently they possesses one of the largest naval mine inventories in the world.

Those are fair points. They don’t need to block all targeted traffic. They just have to be enough of a threat/pain in the ass for transportation and insurance rates to go up to an uncomfortable level. It’s all about threat and perception.

Sure, the US air force and navy could bomb the shit out of their artillery placements. But given how (relatively) cheap and effective drones are, that might not be as effective as it seems at first.

They’re a petrostate with a hopelessly outdated air force, the US or any other developed country can destroy their infrastructure at their leisure and bring their economy to it’s knees. Which they would happily do if Iran sinks a vessel flagged in their waters.

They also need a working vessel to lay those mines.

Closing the straight was a RESPONSE to American bombings of civilian targets. Are they supposed to just let the US bomb more civilian targets or else they will keep bombing civilian targets? How does that even make sense?

Conversely, the US is spending billions of dollars to do what, exactly? What are the American people getting back on this investment? Do you really think that Americans are going to tolerate increased costs of every product they purchase forever just to achieve the … that is the goal of this whole enterprise?
