When you’ve had a long day and you just want to unwind in Ten Forward and maybe even talk to Guinen and you get there and Riker is on the trombone.
If you aint here for the trombone party, you should get the fuck out.
Aint no bad party where someone is playing a trombone. It literally cant happen. Its too whimisical of an instrument.
My favorite bar was this beautiful Irish pub. Big fireplace, giant oak bar, 20 foot pressed tin ceilings, little booths decorated like your grandma’s living room, amazing food, and a huge selection of whiskey and beer. It was called The Banshee and it was like two blocks from Cooper’s in Scranton.
Now it’s basically a knockoff Margaritaville and my soul is crushed.
gentrification fucking sucks. makes everything cookie cutter and bland.
