Obviously, functionally, this fails all the time. But… in this case… the Minneapolis PD have basically been ordered to just completely stop assisting ICE. So now we get to see what happens when you completely remove that flimsy line. … and the results are not looking so great for ICE or the … general concept that US citizens have rights.
Expecting the police to mediate with ICE is like expecting a hungry wolf to mediate with another hungry wolf.
