    Because we like feeling like we use all of our letters equally. If ABC is used for lists we use XYZ for unknown variables

    ABC are variables, but XYZ are coordinates. XYZ gives you a space to work in, but you never know what ABC are up to.

    Everyone knows ABC, but unfortunately, familiarity breeds contempt. XYZ are edgy, angular and never go home alone.

    Because ABC sounds like a kids song, but XYZ sounds like tech-bros. While notorious for poor financial decisions, they definitely understand marketing.
