Former Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), who is also the current Democratic Senate candidate for Ohio, found himself in hot water in a past campaign over his response to anti-trans attacks from Republicans, and now he appears to be taking a different approach.

Instead of trying to defend or explain his views on trans rights, Brown released an ad last week slamming Republicans for focusing on trans people at all, when there are so many bigger challenges facing the state.

I learned that a significant majority of the US voting population will torch the country if the candidates in our inherently flawed voting system are not good enough for their moral or ethical standards. Status quo vs driving the country off a cliff are not the same thing.

Yeah and it doesn’t help that thousands of not millions of shills canvas the Internet with misinformation intended to help Republicans.

The status quo of genocide and endless war in the name of empire? The status quo of silencing dissent in society? The status quo of attacking minorities? Do you think all of this is only supported by the Republicans because I’ve got news for you bucko.

Do you honestly think that if harris had one, ice would be going around the country and detaining immigrants and putting them in concentration camps?

Harris was in favor of massive expansion in border patrol and deportation. I think liberals like yourself would be more inclined to look the other way like you have for decades as the Democrats have expanded the already expansive powers of ICE and border patrol.

Or do we forget who created ICE to begin with?

I think you “forgot”. Because it was Bush. Not a Democrat, which you intend to lie people into believing created it.

Democrats do plenty of bad things. But it does say something about users who lie in order to take heat off republicans.

You’re right but it was Obama who expanded their powers massively under his presidency and functionally made them what they are today. Primed for abuse by any president.

Yes that was the status quo. And now we have the status quo times 1000 worse. Democrats have not been shocked into compliance either. A systemic overhaul is required and it’s bigger than one person.
