I used to be big on States’ Rights because I thought it made more sense for people to make rules more specific to them but then I realized the only reason politicians push that is to do whack shit like overturn abortion and now some are even arguing we should go back to when women couldn’t work. If I was the president and I cut back rules so States could decide I guarantee laws like that would be passed within a week.
The more I read about it the more im glad that the federal government is strong enough to stop States from extorting or attacking each other (like how New York would basically bully New Jersey).
