    I’d say mine were staunchly conservative. Not empire lovers, but very happy to be on the winning side and finding the battles themselves more interesting than the issues leading up to them and happy to swallow whatever convenient excuse aligns with their upbringing (“the communists were killing the intellectuals” (sometimes true) or “the communists were too divided to lead” (often true), etc.)

      Gonna guess that you are Spannish? Of at least that is my guess, maybe Portuguese but I don’t know anything about Portugal after Napoleon outside of Salazar being a pseudo fascist.
