WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration secretly reimposed a policy limiting Congress members’ access to immigration detention facilities a day after a federal immigration officer fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, attorneys for several congressional Democrats said Monday in asking a federal judge to intervene.
Three Democratic members of Congress from Minnesota were blocked from visiting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility near Minneapolis on Saturday, three days after an ICE officer shot and killed U.S. citizen Renee Good in the city.
Last month, U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb in Washington, D.C., temporarily blocked ICE from enforcing policies limiting Congress members’ access to immigration detention facilities. In a court filing on Monday, plaintiffs’ lawyers asked Cobb to hold an emergency hearing and decide if the duplicate notice policy violates her order. Cobb scheduled a hearing for Wednesday.
Organize, form a militia, march to the ICE facility, force entry, release all detained people contained within, then burn the facility to the ground. Repeat until ICE completely melted.
Trump is looking to push this into an armed conflict so he can invoke martial law and cancel the 2026 midterms. The only way to save democracy is to not fight. We can get the entrenched child rape apologists out of their seats and put in a class of politicians who will be scared of the raging public sentiment against Trump.
As much as armed conflict sounds inviting, it would play to the strength of the bigger organization with better logistics so the People will lose that fight. And bashing ICE skulls doesn’t deter from other psychopaths looking to kill signing up with ICE. Hunt ICE where they sleep. Keep them from rest. Make them paranoid and scared from sheer exhaustion. Passive pacification will then trigger them to have an armed response which will massively polarize much of the People into dissolving ICE.
I think the US way beyond the point of peaceful protest. You have 40% (which also happen to be the better armed portion of the population) approving of a dictator turning your democracy into a dictatorship.
Trump (and his much more dangerous puppet masters) have made it evidently clear that they ignore both congress and judges at their will. Congress and senate at the same time are filled with representatives presenting the elites profiting from Trumps coup, not you.
Short of system change I don’t think you’ll get out of this.
He’s going to come up with some excuse no matter how flimsy and by then it’ll be too close to the elections. Doing it now means that there are still 11 months which would be more than enough time to erode support for it.
Then start organizing now for when that doesn’t work.

Dudes, you need to form your own armies and push your way around. It’s the only language these goons speak. They thrive in the dark. Expose them to the light of day and they’ll melt into nothingness. But you have to come prepared. A “court order” means nothing to these people, you need to act accordingly. High road leads off a cliff.
