Someday the US will hopefully do an ancient-Egypt style cleansing project, where his disgraced name will be chiselled off of every edifice and building, save one, where a plaque sits below, spelling out the sheer disaster of his legacy; where people may read of his misdeeds, but never again need to otherwise hear or see his name again.
I hope in his last days he is told of how the world is already working to utterly erase his stain on history, to be forgotten save for its use as a cautionary tale.
And hopefully, when he dies, he’s not allowed to lay in state, but instead is shoveled out with the rest of the toxic trash. We already have his epitaph ready.
It’s still the Gulf of Mexico. It’s still the Department of Defense. It’s still the Kennedy Center.
He wasn’t shot. He didn’t win. He’s in the files.

I just hope that he’s singularly obsessed with vanity projects and sticking his name on everything because he’s going to be dead soon.
Yeah … knowing America’s track record … after he dies, his name will be mocked and removed everywhere … then in a hundred years (or less), there will be a new neo-MAGA movement that will revive his name and everyone will debate about his legacy all over again.
