Elon Musk admitted that his company, SpaceX, purposely restricted Ukraine’s internet access because they were using it “to kill people” in its war with Russia.
Ukraine are using it to defend against aggression
Trying to reduce it to “they are killing people” is ridiculous and not something Musk has the right to determine
Go back to kick flipping cars bitch
I’m really not sure the bucket they flipped counts, as hollowed out as it was
This is why I think we need politicians in Europe who want to build sovereign European technologies, in areas like defence, and space, and so on.
Europe should never again choose to rely upon the US, a country which has proven itself to be unreliable.
Yep the us is not reliable
IMO it was naive to not see this shit even before 2016.
Confesses
So he is confessing to treason. Okay then.
There’s no doubt that the orange idiot and this lying dickhead are in cahoots.
they claimed their were too incompetent to be aware of anything that happens until Fox News reports it. but only if they report it after 11am.
Absolutely, it is no accident that Ukraine stopped attacking Russian oil, and went for data-centers instead. It’s what Trump and Putin wanted. Except now the Russians are discovering that they depend on the Internet as much as they depend on oil.
This is all a game of “let’s fuck the world” and we are the suckers getting shafted in this dick swinging contest while these dickheads rake in billions.
If by “we” you mean the Ukrainians you are absolutely right.
By “we” I don’t mean just the people of Ukraine but the rest of the world too. Fuel prices are through the roof and the world economy is shit due to the dick measuring contest between that orange idiot and the two other dictators - Putin and Netanyahu.
Ah yes, that’s absolutely true too.
I hope Ukraine can’t spare any fighters to avenge their comrades who died due to lack of drone support. That would suck for Musk.
Look, Elon admitted he was the guy who screwed with the settings, right? Obviously that makes him a military target, and he knows that. So why would anyone believe him if he says positive-sounding things now?
It’s not news to report liars lying. It’s simply bad journalism.
I’d like to know when the feature to cut service based on speed was released.
Musk’s comment is that it was a deliberate choice to interfere with Ukraine’s operations (and not for the first time). So was there previously a valid business case to constrain usage in this way, or is this just a tyrant misappropriating company resources?

They ripped out the Whitehouse internet and replaced it with his when trump got into office in 2024 too. He could throttle the Whitehouse at will.
I don’t understand why he bothers to make an excuse/pretend he had a justification.
