Democratic leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives have condemned a raid on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home as “deeply disturbing” and accused the Trump administration of a “rogue abuse of power” just weeks ahead of November’s midterm elections.

That’s not what a political prisoner is. Political prisoner is someone imprisoned for their their political activity, like a member of the opposition, someone running in elections against the ruling party or an activists.
