RCV is a politician’s trap. It isn’t electoral reform, it is ballot reform. It comes in good forms like STV, or bad forms like IRV. And the politicians always want IRV, because that trends even faster than FPTP towards a 2 party system.
You need a system that actually lets you elect a third party, not one that lets you write one on a ballot to no avail.
The issue is that money is currently running wild for influence, so it’s staggeringly difficult to make such changes in the face of all the money being put forward to stop us.
