Torrid is a pretty good source for cute/sexy bras for large breasts. They also have shirts that will fit if you’re skinny with large ones.

1·21 minutes agoDoesn’t every dollar given to NASA net a fairly large return? Through government contracts they’re definitely increasing shareholder value for several companies.

News@lemmy.world•UnitedHealth reduced hospitalizations for nursing home seniors. Now it faces wrongful death claimsEnglish
1·27 minutes agoBecause they’re banking on the patient dying before they actually get the care they need. And to ensure this they pay the nursing homes to not take patients to the hospital to get the care they need.

3·30 minutes agoIt’s too bad corporations are only considered people when they’re making campaign donations. The whole company should be liable and criminally punished for it, including the death penalty.

1·59 minutes agoGood point, there’s a streamer I enjoy watching that plays games that I’d personally never touch.
It’s about patience and practice.
Lots of people don’t want that in a video game. Which is perfectly fine because no game is going to have universal appeal.

News@lemmy.world•Whistleblower drops 'largest ever' ICE leak to unmask agents: 'The last straw'English
1·1 hour agoIt’s not usually prosecuted as such, but unlawful entry to the country is a federal crime.
Not that it justifies what ICE is doing or their existence in the first place.

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•The singular they is actually such a natural part of the English language, the people complaining about it almost certainly use it without noticingEnglish
4·2 hours agoMy MIL is one of those people who love to complain about the use of ‘they’, and my wife loves to point out when she uses it (often in the same sentence as the complaint).
I think it’s just a sheet with a head hole cut in it.

1·2 hours agoI wasn’t talking about Snowden; I just used him as an example of how the US government can ruin your life even if you aren’t profiting from it, so no amount of profit is worth the risk.

News@lemmy.world•'Super flu' confirmed in Calif. as hospitalizations hit season highEnglish
1·2 hours agoI doubt that’s the reason since people went back to it the second lockdowns weren’t a thing, if they ever stopped.
The reason is likely because this season’s vaccine doesn’t protect against this sub strain.

3·3 hours agoThere has to be room for forgiveness if you ever want people to positively change. She admitted that she was wrong and is trying to atone for it by advocating for the cause.
People can absolutely change as they get older and gather more life experiences, and we should be supporting those who realize the things they thought before were wrong and are working on changing themselves for the better.

5·3 hours agoHe doesn’t actually care about his children. To him, all they’re good for is a means to spread his genetics. Nothing more.
The lawsuit would only be to hurt his ex; the infant would be handed off to a nanny and never thought about again.
Buddy, neurodivergence isn’t an excuse for aggressive behavior when you acknowledge that you’re knowingly and willingly acting aggressively.
That’s like saying it’s fine for someone with anger management issues to be aggressive instead of expecting them to moderate their behavior.
All of us, neurodivergent or not, have to take how we act towards others into account and tailor our behaviors accordingly.
Accidentally behaving aggressively because you didn’t realize it would come across as aggressive is a different story.
