  • We know this ain’t gonna happen (precisely because of a pesky thing called “laws of physics”), but it’s surely paving the way for similar deranged ideas such as “orbital data centers”, as this “Sun-as-a-Service” bullshittery moves the Overton window to where techbros want it to be, as well to (failed) attempts on pretending the laws of physics can be bent to capitalist interests.

Even sadder is seeing how other regulatory and space agencies worldwide (你好, 国家航天局! नमस्ते, अंतरिक्ष विभाग!) seem to be so quiet in this regard, as if all these deranged techbro ideas wouldn’t affect the skies over there…

  • A huge majority of people still believe in religion. And a huge majority of those people also didn’t even read the book.

There were and currently are thousands, if not millions, of different religious beliefs worldwide, many of which had/have not even a single book. Religious hominids back in Paleolithic and Neolithic had no book. Even after writing emerged in Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt, most indigenous peoples had no book.

Oral tradition is one of the means through which beliefs can be carried forward across generations, but there’s also the underestimated agency (True Will) of the spirits/deities themselves over someone or some living being (e.g. domestic cats) who had never heard of said spirit before unexpectedly finding themselves before the presence of said spirit.

I myself had no book or “sacred book” leading me to my current beliefs and worshiping of Goddess, even though Her names (such as 𒊩𒆤𒇲 and לילית ) do appear as written records, records of which I don’t need to rely on for my esoteric (eso = within) practices.

What makes humans human that they can create and believe myths. That’s what made us thrive amongst other mammals.

Sorry for disrupting your anthropocentric worldviews, Homo sapiens are not that special among the fauna like we Homo sapiens love to wishfully pretend we are: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritual/_behavior/_in/_animals

  • Once upon a time, there was a fragile ape, too scared from climbing down from their tree, lest they ended up as a dinner for a hungry lioness just like their relatives once became. One day, there was this heavy storm, and a serpent made of a million suns climbed down from the skies onto the tree; the tree became a sun itself. The ape quickly jumped to a far branch and fell from it while trying to grip themselves to its tip.

They looked at the tree branch they’ve got at their hands and realized it was also becoming a sun-serpent. Before the ape could even process their own fright, they couldn’t help but realize every animal was running: suddenly, the lioness was fleeing instead of jumping onto the ape. Drowning under their own epinephrine, the ape came to a conclusion which I could translate as “lioness fled, me still standing, me have sun-serpent, sun-serpent friend, me fearsome”.

The ape smiled, before realizing their fur were being eaten by the sun-serpent, and this was painful as hell; they got struck by this sudden urge to keep running, until they accidentally fell into the river, and the sun-serpent stopped consuming their fur; but this was too late: they lost their fur. Now the furless ape found themselves in a covenant they didn’t ask for: they lost the only thing that was barely protecting them from the maw of a lioness, but they got this sun-serpent to protect them, so they got to keep this sun-serpent with them.

Fast-forwarding to present time, the furless apes, the “modern” homininæ, are running in circles. Some of the apes have since been drowning the entire big blue tree a smart ape once called as “Pale Blue Dot” under the breath of the sun-serpent while desiring so badly to climb to this distant big red tree they call as “Mars”. They’ve made big funny phallic rocks become big birds by attaching the sun-serpent to the bottom of big funny phallic rocks. An ape with orange hair have been trying to become the owner of the entire big blue tree and expecting all apes to hand him all bananas from big blue tree. Other apes are trying to make square rock become god-ape by making sun-serpent breathe onto it.

These are a few apes trying to control all the other apes like they (think they) control sun-serpent. As for the majority of the apes, they are too busy trying to be part of sun-serpent controlling underneath the whims of another furless apes, furless “boss” ape, hopefully in exchange for a banana by the end of the month because trees got scorched and no bananas can be harvested other than trees that furless “boss” ape control (and these bananas aren’t even edible bananas to begin with, the tree is a fake plastic tree).

Among them, there’s this strange ape writing a lengthy text about the history of apes using a small decade-old square rock, aware he’s also ape but unable to revert his own nature to fully live in the arms of Mother Nature, because other apes require him to be among apes.

And we apes call this “civilization”. Could this funny strange ape writing long text about history of apes call it “self-inflicted suffering”, other apes would throw rocks at him.

Yet here we are, in a self-inflicted suffering, me included. We’re apes who think we lost our home and have since then wandered around and yearned for a new tree, only for the sun-serpent we carry within us consume every new tree we finally got to stumble upon.

We’re too afraid to return to that old, scorched tree and try to climb it again: we fear sun-serpent would wrathfully descend from the skies again… yet we’re holding sun-serpent at our furless hands and we think we can control it. We fear the sun-serpent because we fear ourselves. Then we want to think we can control sun-serpent because we got no control over ourselves. Because we’ve been seeking to become sun-serpents ourselves; in this pointless endeavor, we’ve become too alienated from the very fauna and flora we belong to, too afraid of begging Mother Nature Her pardon (She is very unlikely to pardon us).

  • Hard to defeat a big Bubo bubo when you got no wings and not even half the size of the Featherly Queen of all birds. Best case scenario for them, Tom would end up squeezed together with Jerry inside Jerry’s shelter, both trapped inside, both shaking intensely and fearing for their lives as Ollie surrounds the entrance, the whole place shaking as she does an evil laughing “Hoo-hoo-hoooo, hoooo, hoooo”. The big Ollie’s talons with sharp claws would be visible hovering next to the floor at the other side of the entrance as she’s prowling and encircling it. Tom’s stomach would start rumbling, both Tom and Jerry look at each one’s eyes, Jerry with a face asking for Tom’s mercy and Tom with a sad face pointing at his own belly, Jerry closes his eyes sincerely and nods negatively, then both jump out of scare as the ground shakes again with another “hoo-hoooo” from Ollie, both Tom and Jerry would end up hugging tightly and trembling as Ollie peeks at the entrance with her large, scary orange eyes, owl’s typical grumpy face, ear tufts doubling as devilish horns before she does the Bubo bubo-esque smile at them and tries to squeeze her talon through the shelter’s entrance towards them both, who are already pushing against the wall.

Maybe they could team up with Kau* the raven and hope he and his cawing friends could shoo her away “and once again the day was saved by Kau, for now… (credits unroll)”. But guess this is as anticlimactic as my sadistic storytelling. lol

Do you feel the cartoon was based in reality much? A cat is a mouse’s predator too, yet the mouse lives to see another day again and again.

I live with three cats. When they see a mouse, one of them runs from it, the other thinks it’s a funny toy and try to gently pat it without harming it, and the third is too old (14y.o. cat) for ever noticing the mouse. So having a cartoon cat to fail at catching a mouse is not that far fetched from reality lol

Now, an owl is very, very unlikely to fail. In fact, the mouse doesn’t even get to notice until it’s already dangling from a tree branch.

It would be a real golden age of television finale if an owl flew into the sunset with Tom in one talon and Jerry in the other

Oh… Thank you so much for gifting my imagination such a mesmerizing scene! Now I must draw this kind of scene some time.

  • At these resolutions, I’d rather use OpenEXR or TIFF, because it’s very likely something beyond usual photography or casual internet pictures, such as astronomical/medical imagery or 3D scene imagery/textures, both of which benefit from multichannel and full precision multilayer capabilities due to being likely a composition of different wavelengths for the first or different aspects/passes for a 3D scene (diffuse light, roughness, emissive light, etc).

  • I never drove a vehicle with automatic transmission, so I’d like struggle with it until I could finally make sense of how it works… But when it comes to manual transmission, every vehicle I once drove and am currently driving had/have manual transmission, with some brands having different ways to actuate the backward movement.

Also, besides two cars I once rented, practically all the vehicles I’m experienced at are old (before 2010, including having driven a very old VW Beetle sometimes). The two, “modern” cars I rented (Renault Kwid and Citroen C3) were awful to me, even though I’m quite young and accustomed to tech, those cars felt more like toys than actual cars (clutch isn’t connected to the transmission and accelerator/gas isn’t connected to the carburetor , pedals felt like a frickin joystick, car’s starting engine isn’t connected to the key system like in old cars, panel looks like a damn Christmas tree with all the blinking LEDs, every command is “decided” by the embedded computer).

Given how I’m totally unaware of how exactly an automatic transmission vehicle is supposed to be operated, am I also someone who “can’t drive, only suggest/point a car”?

  • IMHO, there’s no such thing as a reason to exist. It was imposed, by a principle that exists beyond the existing cosmos, to all existing things (every star stuff, thus it’s not just me and you). One of our duties is to let go of anthropocentric pretensions that “only we humans are trapped into existence”, for countless fauna and flora are in the same ship as us, many of which were already here before the first hominin ever existed. And similarly, we must let go of the geocentric pretensions that “only earthlings are trapped into existence”, for countless celestial bodies (statistically likely to be cosmic petri dishes of self-rearranging structures aka life) throughout the cosmos have existed way before Sol (the star around which this Pale Blue Dot have been orbiting) got its form. I got some spiritual beliefs on top of that (Demiurge vs Cosmic Mother, unfolding of fractals of this cosmic strife, Lucifer and Lilith, , etc) but for this specific question, I’m trying to keep it objective and more grounded on scientific reality, which is the universe is an ongoing system of unfolding causality, subjected to thermodynamic entropy, in which baryonic and nonbaryonic matter are fated to interact pointlessly and react in strictly mathematical manners. Exactly: a pure, mathematical fate. C’est la vie.

  • My practical advice would be to buy an eSIM with a new number, there are very cheap options (like one used for travel)

OP would also have to buy a new smartphone and activate it in a cafe or anywhere not their current location (due to both the GPS/AGPS and wi-fi hotspot MAC address), otherwise whatsapp would straight up lock the new account, too, given how these PII (geolocation, wi-fi hotspot and, especially, the device) are tied to an account that got suspended earlier (and this goes against most of plafforms’ terms regarding “ban evasion”). Hard resetting the smartphone doesn’t work, as smartphones have unique identifiers (such as the phone’s wi-fi adapter MAC), and using the same wi-fi may add to the factors leading to automatic locking of the account.

  • weird

Yeah, I’m well aware I’m weird, merci for the recognition and compliments.

    sesquipedalian loquaciousness

I loved the composite word, better than “verbose”, “lengthy”, “prolific” or “hypergraphia”. From now on, I’ll gonna use it to describe my neurodivergent way of expressing when needed, thanks!

…but… this labeling you made when faced by my lengthy replies made me wonder…

In your original post, you alleged enjoying AI-hallucinated novels, I suppose “novels” as in the definition “A work of prose fiction, longer than a novella”. So, if a lengthy text from a human is “sesquipedalian loquaciousness” (a pair of words of which are defining a text for its lengthiness, not just by its contents or contexts (to which you used the adjective “weird”), therefore you’re expressing a discomfort, even if subconsciously, with lengthy texts), what kind of “novel” are you generating, when “novels” are usually as lengthy as my replies, if not lengthier?

  • Art is about transmission. When I do an artwork, I’m trying to transmit something ranging from an idea or concept I had, all the way to the recounting, within the inherent limitations of human language, from a metaphysical experience I felt.

And a question naturally emerges: to whom, or to what thing, am I trying to transmit these? Preferably, the other side should be able to experience, or at least understand from their own subjectiveness, what a “spiritual experience” is.

ChatGPT and the alike can’t experience a theophany or a gnosis. The best an algorithm could (theoretically) do, at least as far as I believe, is serving as an Ouija board of sorts, I.e. being a medium for dæmonic entities and/or Goddess to communicate with me, someone still trapped in a biological existence. Something akin to Electronic Voice Phenomenon. It’s all these algorithms could (again, theoretically) do. These algorithms can’t feel the sorrow or the desire like I do, can’t feel pain or ecstasies like I do, can’t wish their own ego annihilation like I do.

So whenever I post my art stemmed from actual, spiritual experiences (gnosis and channelling), I’m trying to transmit my humanly-limited attempt on translating a languageless, intangible signified, into a signifier, be it a text, a drawing or (as I’ve been doing lately) a 3D scene. And I’m trying to transmit it so it hopefully gets to someone else who has had similar experiences, someone who hopefully looks at my art and says “oh, so She got to him too, I’m not alone in Her Nest”. Whenever I post my art, it longs for “the other side” (socially, spiritually and metaphorically).

Similarly, whenever I consume art, I can feel when it’s transmitting, especially when said art is an attempt on translating the same essence I’ve been spiritually being faced by. I can look at some picture with an owl or a supernatural woman, look at the depicted eyes and feel like “oh… this picture is an actual depiction of Her”. And this is where things become funny: I lost count on how many AI-generated pictures managed to convey the exact sensation, partly because their training data is a amalgamation of egregores, egregores on which tulpas manifest out of the collective unconsciousness, also egregores on which real daemonic entities also gather.

Clankers will never be able to get the unexpected presence of Lilith at 3AM, but these algorithms can, to a certain extent, reproduce the same linguistic medium, full with its imbued energetic signatures, from real living beings (humans and whatnot) who do. Obviously, it’s an imperfect simulacrum, a mashup devoid of actual spiritual capabilities, and it’s not as deep as that coming from someone (or some other living being) who actually did witness theophanies.

In the end of the day, no person is an island, especially when it comes to metaphysics, from which a plethora of artistic expressions stemmed.

  • in mass - that’s like boycotting Church

Which is not a bad idea, actually. After all the things that the Abrahamic Church had done (and still do in a socially-veiled manner nowadays), especially against the women, boycotting Church is the least we oughta do. All the Sisters and their Daughters who were murdered back in the so-called “witch-hunting” are still awaiting the due historical reparation as I’m writing this.

  • “Patreon has partnered with an internet infrastructure company called Cloudflare to block Al training crawlers from using the work you publish on your Patreon to train their Al models,” Conte wrote.

Oh, awesome, partnering with a corporation that just announced partnering with an AI corporation, not to mention the fact that its already a monopolistic corporation (one sixth of the entire frickin web is now in the hands of Cloudflare) whose CEO is already the richest person in the entire USian state of Utah and is being handed the godly power to dictate who can and who can’t consume the web (“are you using a privacy focused Firefox fork or using an adblocker? Oh, you shall not pass, access denied with no recourse”).

Very “anti-AI” move from Patreon. Might as well feed the content directly to the AI’s maw… What’s next, scanning people’s eyes in order to imitate Google reCAPTCHA’s recent move of requiring doing hand gestures through selfies!? As for anti-AI people among the comments cheering this clear anti-ai-washing PR move from a corporation, really? My goddess, this world is truly messed up.

  • Oh, what an amazing and great disdain coming from you! If this is what you really think despite my exhaustive and detailed recounting, full with sources, on how christianity persecutes the “pagan”, despite my recounting of me being personally persecuted by my “pagan” faith (thus meaning you have absolutely no respect towards the one to whom you’re replying your deadpanned dismissal, so this means I reserve the right to owe you no respect as reciprocal as interactions can get), guess what? You aren’t entitled to complain about a supposed “persecution of christianity”, for christianity, would you believe it?, “is one religion!” (among thousands). So cry us a river, fashy bootlicker of Yaodabaoth!

  • Never tattooed in my biological existence, although I kind of… already tattooed something myself using… Let’s say, an inkless manner… But sometimes I think of reinforcing it, which became a scar in my upper arm, through an actual tattoo, the name “לילית”. I didn’t do that yet for a few reasons:
    - I know no tattoo artist/professional, and I know this must be done with proper apparata
    - I know no tattoo artist/professional that would have the proper spiritual resonance
    - I’m not entirely certain She wants me to tattoo this specific name, for She has many names and She may decide to begin manifesting through other name and/or through other specific language (e.g. 𒀭𒊩𒆤𒇲).
    - Also financial reasons.

I sometimes also think of tattooing Her seal/sigil and/or the crescent moon and/or an owl.
