A lot of interesting development in this area is being done via nostr. They’ve got several discord alternatives based on nostr, as well as twitter clones, fitness apps, and all other sorts of interesting infrastructure. If you want to join the future of the decentralized net, check out nostr. Unlike lemmy/activitypub, your identity is NOT tied to a specific server, which makes it more robust.

May want to check out nostr, tons of coders there with this same perspective instead of the anti-AI hatepool this place has become.

The anti-AI sentiment here is wild. I use AI daily, it’s an incredible power up to be able to from idea to execution in hours or days instead of weeks. New code, new drugs, solving long-unsolved math and physics problems, etc. It’s hard to not see it as a net benefit for humanity,

Spend your money wisely. The market can’t sustain what there is no demand for.
