“Primarily, your cholesterol profile is genetic.”

7·6 days agoI’m ok with there being some amount of wealth disparity, but nothing even close to like homeless vs. owns a yacht with a helipad. But before it’s ok to have moderate wealth disparity we have to first meet the basic needs of all people including healthy and comfortable food, water, sanitation, housing, and healthcare.
No, that ain’t the way to be. I like when the world has a diversity of cultures. For my own selfish reasons I’m glad english is the global lingua franca as people’s second language, but i want other cultures to continue thriving.

1·26 days agoWhen cats do this kind of things i believe it’s often because those surfaces are cooler temperature than any kind of bedding, and currently they’re feeling a bit too hot. So maybe it’s the same in rats
There’s an uncanny valley effect for how i treat objects. A stuffed animal I’ll treat very well, but I’ll yell at Siri that it’s a piece of shit.
