in college calc classes, my handwriting was famously quite poor. I’d scribble down some illegible notes and formulas, draw a few pictures illustrating the problem, then come up with a random answer. most of my classes graded work, not correct answers, so if I had an inkling of the right way to do it I could fake it and usually get at least 75% credit for the question.

always hated the questions that make you use the answer from previous questions. always a good time when you get to the end and have a nonsensical answer and have to redo 4 pages to find where you forgot to carry a 1.

I was in an accident a few years back and broke my orbital floor, sphenoid, and ended up with pneumocephalus. I was there for about 32 hours total and ended up with a 150k bill. 65k of that was imaging.

idk, I’ve fixed a lot of phones that people take into baths or showers. constant exposure will wear down the seals and there’s a reason they’re water resistant not waterproof. plus if you’ve ever had any repair done even by an authorized provider that water resistance goes out the window.

I once rescued a duckling as well. sometimes duck mothers simply decide they’re just gonna ditch a kid. took about 3 months until it was ready to be released, I had built it a full outside enclosure where it could stay in the meantime, so it was mostly self sufficient towards the end. it definitely did learn to recognize me, and while it still hated being touched, it had absolutely bonded and kept trying to run back to me when I released it.

luckily where I grew up there was a spring fed one where ducks stay year round, so I can actually confirm it’s still there and recognized me up till about 3 years later.
