Yep. I’m far more risk adverse now that when I was younger.

However, I’m not projecting my own risk aversion onto my children. I’ll explain it to them, but leave them their own agency.

I’m also not blaming the minority non grata du jour for society’s ills. I’m also content to ‘take a hit’ so that the more vulnerable members of society have it better. So I don’t consider the “conservative” label apt (for me).
