“Hair of the dog” is one of those phrases I’ve heard a bunch but never really dug into, so thanks for this rabbit hole.
I had thought “hair of the dog that bit you” was just a euphemism for alcohol. Didn’t know it was specifically alcohol consumed to alleviate an alcohol-induced hangover.
