Amazing! Why are they all lined up like that?
They are in the place with the most shade, since the trunk is a cylinder, the “best spot” becomes a line instead.
That’s how they hang out, they can also form ovals on larger surfaces. I believe some say it’s for camouflage but I can’t find anything specific on that.
