Yeah I agree with both points. When George Floyd was murdered, society didn’t get less racist overnight. People were so pissed because we saw it happen. Anyone can say whatever they want to the contrary, but we are a visual species, and seeing someone murdered is far more emotionally impactful than hearing about it
