      Words are how we use them. If people can understand the meaning, it is correct. There’s no central body like in French saying how words must be. This allows English to be flexible and grow to the needs of the speakers.

      Descriptive languages > prescriptive languages.

          eh, not everyone will get the meaning the first time they encounter a new usage, but if it makes sense to most people it’ll be used more
