    Are there any rules about Rescue vessels? That feels a little unethical. Sink the fleets, but allow the soldiers to retreat at least evacuate…

      I think rescue tug is not a ship meant to save people but rather help move other ships that can’t move by themselves

      In general these ships are apparently not sunk, they are taken out of commission in other ways, like taking out the command bridge.
      In a similar fashion to ships Ukraine has taken out with naval drones, they do not sink them, but take out the rudder and propeller.

      Regarding ethics it’s very strange that you worry about Ukraine taking out legitimate targets, while Russia continue to bomb civilians on purpose in major cities of Ukraine.

        Ukraine is better than Russia and they would be wise to keep it that way to maintain international support. We don’t need another Russia, we don’t even want this one.

        Stranding sailors on the water isn’t really an option ethically, they need a means to retreat.
