  • They’re not actually improving. Following predictions made by OpenAI and Deepmind in 2020 and 2022 research papers on AI Scaling Laws, they hit a ceiling for accuracy as training data and power consumption approach infinity. The papers correctly predicted accuracy and costs of current models.

Now that they’ve run out of most sources of training data, it gets more and more difficult to filter out AI generated data which will pollute the models and lead to worse accuracy.

The models are actually getting worse.

OpenAI announced recently that it’s about to go bankrupt. Microsoft publicly stated it has to do something useful with AI or they will lose trust from both people and government agencies.

A lot of companies are reporting that adoption of AI has either brought no returns or actually cost them more.

  • Democrats haven’t had any real power for at least a decade, before that in the 1990 to 2010 period they temporarily reverse the deficit, temporarily banned PAC money from politics, expanded healthcare to tens of millions, protected LGBT+ rights, fought against climate change, saved millions from starvation around the world, and secured boarders to stabilize the middle east.

They have not ratcheted the country to the right, voters have because they keep giving solid majorities to Republicans because they don’t fucking trust the Democrats. If we all had a little more faith in the DNC then none of this bad shit would be happening currently.

  • The Republicans filibustered the bill without public option. Not one single Republican voted for that bill. They’ve been screaming about the bill without public option for years. Do not sit there and tell me the Republicans weren’t horrible on this issue, they were then and still are.

They were appeasing their 60th vote Joe Lieberman. An Independent Senator. It passed with the supermajority to bypass filibuster.

  • Leiberman wasn’t in the ranks he was an independent.

Fetterman certainly is a turncoat and the 7 Dems and 1 Ind who ended the shutdown are all problematic, I contacted all of them with my frustrations at their stupidity, but there was some truth to the fact that the shutdown was causing suffering for many federal workers and the larger economy. If you don’t want Republicans holding the entire government hostage then simply vote for the DNC, that’s all I can tell you.

  • The last time the DNC had enough votes to overcome filibuster was 1979, but if you include caucusing independents then they also had enough votes to expand medical to tens of millions of americans in 2010 but one of those independents, Joe Leiberman, stood in the way of passing public option identical to Germany’s healthcare.

In the last 13 years the DNC have had 48 or less senators.
