For reference: I’m a Spaniard, and the Soviet Union was the only country in the world that stepped up to arm the antifascists during our civil war with rifles, tanks and planes. The vast majority of weapons used by the CNT-FAI were of Soviet manufacture. I can only wish that the Soviets had liberated my country from fascism after WW2, unfortunately the USA prevented that and we were left with 30 extra years of fascism
