Here’s one reason Donald Trump seems perennially in a bad mood: he has probably figured out that the America he fantasizes about is out of his reach.
However many immigrants he manages to deport or prevent from entering the country, the white paradise he is promising his Maga base, free of Somalis, Mexican “rapists” and generally people from “shithole countries” – closer in hue to the America where he was born – is not his to offer.
He can, however, do a lot of damage. By doing his best to make the US unbearable both to foreigners and, more generally, people from ethnicities that do not mesh with his picture of the American family, Trump is not Making America Great Again. He is ensuring America will be smaller, older, weaker and easier to push around.
Nothing Trump does to stop immigration can change this trajectory. Because the non-Hispanic white population will keep on shrinking regardless, the Census Bureau projects that it will lose 3.6 million people over the next five years, almost 11 million in the decade after that and more than 14 million in the subsequent one.
And that means that if Trump and his ethnonationalist sidekick Stephen Miller achieve their goal of cutting future immigration down to nothing, the US population will shrink pretty sharply. It will be 6% smaller by mid-century, 10% smaller by 2060 and one-third smaller in 2100. The president may not fully realize this – his grasp of economics has proven tenuous – the demographic squeeze would come at a substantial cost.
Stephen Miller though, is probably giddy at how much killing needs to be done to accomplish this goal.
Exactly this. This isn’t about just Trump’s fantasy version of America, it’s about that of the ones that work with and for him. Trump is walking so [redacted] can run.
With that said, it makes it even more important to stop him as well as show [redacted] and those that want this power to shape our country in their own image against the will of the people that we will not stand for it.

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
They are showing they are in the ‘in-group’ by flouting the rules they dictate to everyone else. It’s a key part of showing you’re in the in-group, and powerful within that group. The more rules you can flout the more powerful you are.
They are going to be some of the most surprised when some of the real true believers that supported them up to a point then turn on them and their families. Call them race traitors or whatever and kill them for this “crime”.
Miller is JEWISH, too. It doesn’t seem like he’s thought any of this out, at all. They almost always end up coming for the Jews. Often sooner rather than later. So while they might be busy getting the brown and the black people and now apparently lesbian white citizens, too…they are not going to overlook or forget that Miller is Jewish.
Stephen Miller’s wife is white by their definition.
He already achieved his goal of being in power. The racism was just a means to achieve that goal. He’ll be long gone before the population decline he’s creating will become a real problem.
I doubt Taco is taking the longer view at all. Dude doesn’t have many years left, and he could give a fuck about anyone other than himself. He only cares about how many statues and monuments there will be to him when he’s gone. I doubt he’s given much thought to how many white babies there will be, or how strong America will be when he’s kicked the bucket.
I am sure he’s at least kinda racist, but I’m not sure he’s as true of a believer like Stephen Miller is. Taco is just cunning enough to know there are just enough assholes like Miller to get him into office and slobber all over his knob at every opportunity.

Be careful with this statement, there’s two very different ways this could be interpreted. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you’re alluding to the end of WWII and how Hitler chose to leave it, but it could also be interpreted to refer to the start of WWII.

The start of World War II was the invasion of Poland. Don’t freaking kid yourself, if they’d stayed in their borders no one would have stopped them from killing all the Jews and Romanian and disabled people they wanted to.
