If the person driving is required to have insurance for being an Uber (they are) and the person driving causes the wreck, then Uber didn’t do anything to get sued over. The driver did. The only ones that should be sued are the driver and their insurance.
Because they’re basically employees for Uber, but are touted as “entrepreneurs”.
