I have never seen it, so I didn’t think about that aspect although it should have been obvious. My apologies.
Yeah the uh, last scene is pretty rough once you find out about the recording timeline. Ugh, I’m a mess now.
I’d hope that should an omnipotent god exist that it’d see right through that charade, but then we’d just be its sims flailing around in a pool with no ladder, so why should it place any value on us?
In retrospect, I honestly wish Jesus had said “you will have them with you always” when he was talking about puppies instead of the poor.
