Like it’s not even the Soviet union any more. It’s just a capitalist nation with a dictator. I just don’t understand why tankies are so obsessed with these modern countries that aren’t even remotely communist anymore. Just authoritarian
They call it “critical support”, basically the enemy of my enemy (the west) is my friend.
In theory the critical part is meant to imply they criticise the bad stuff the friend does, and only support the good. The reality is they rarely if ever speak out critically and only show support because being critical hurts their friends ability to do ‘good’.
Imagine defending modern day Russia.
