    I just moved to New Zealand at the beginning of the year. The thing I was most struck by immediately after landing was how good the air smells outside. And I was at the Auckland Airport!

    That and the quality of the eggs immediately radicalized me. They’ve taken so much from us.

      For me its how large and healthy random animals look in other countries outside America. Like even the squirrels and birds in America look like they are struggling in comparison.

        you should see the size of the rabbits in my backyard here in suburban Ottawa

        the foxes, however, are cute and small as always

        Wow, that’s something I haven’t thought to look at. I did notice that I haven’t seen an unhappy dog in the couple of weeks I’ve been here. I’ve seen a lot of dogs, and some shy ones, but not really any anxious or angry dogs. That hit me out of the blue a couple days ago.
