I hope at some point we start seeing patriot coalitions of blue dot cities form and join larger coalitions like this to push back against red state governors who harass, threaten, and intimidate blue cities.

I’m not sure if it would be a good idea to do it before the midterm date, but once that passes (regardless of elections being held/cancelled) I think those coalitions should join international coalitions with countries like Denmark to oppose the administration and the spread of global fascism.

The majority of the world does not want this. Billionaires and their idiot lap dogs want this. How do you get rid of any idiot with too much power and money? You all go in together and combine your resources and voices to defeat them.

Pretty sure that negotiating with a foreign power as you describe would get you thrown in jail.

      18 U.S. Code § 953 - Private correspondence with foreign governments

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

I do agree, however, that blue cities and states need to be forming alliances to resist the fascists in D.C.

That’s why I said after the midterms. Especially if Trump cancels the elections (which should also get you thrown in jail but lulz)

At that point I’m not really sure we can keep pretending laws matter. If every law only applies to certain people in certain situations, then every law becomes unjust

Also, pretty much every member of the Heritage Foundation prior to 1991, and every current and former member of CNP should already be in jail for this.

I’m not sure how a coalition (especially one composed entirely of nonprofits and private businesses, not governments) to do things like re-building crumbling infrastructure by sharing ideas and resources could be considered intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government. Especially if this doesn’t apply to what’s going on in Venezuela, but again lulz

That à beautiful idea, but trumps and it’s billionaire friends won’t let a neighbor succeed. They will shut down anything looking like a success. I am curious about when they will start burning madami city. At the first comunnity shop opening ?

While I’d generally agree, that description doesn’t quite match Minneapolis, Minnesota at this point.
