Given that calling Israel a nazi state has become not uncommon, I’d say we’ve pretty much forgotten what Nazis are/were and it’s now just a perjorative for evil people/governments.
Yeah, it’s not like Israel is demonizing a specific ethnic group and committing genocide.
There are a variety of genocidal, nationalist ideologies though. They’re not all Nazis.
I don’t think you can really separate Nazism from antisemitism. It’s a core part of the ideology. So I don’t find this label to be accurate.
Fascist, sure, since that’s a broader category that includes multiple iterations of the same basic approach to genocidal authoritarianism.
Colloquial use of the word Nazi is pretty much synonymous with fascist, and I don’t really have a problem with that outside of - like - academic discourse and such.
Reddit has been mostly uneducated children for over a decade. It used to be a more even split, but bots, kids, and propagandists have more time to post than your average college educated individual.
The only major change is what an uneducated child knows. And they no longer know nazis very well.
