The moment that the shot changes to daylight pouring into the bridge still gives me a chill. It’s not an expensive effect, it’s just well shot and well acted.
Kid me always wanted to know what it took to break the star dome over the bridge. Now I know.
And in real life, the “support” beams broke while they were redressing the bridge set between seasons. So if you look closely on shots angled towards the ceiling later in the series you can see one side has one less beam than the other.
Could the Deaaath Staar break it? Could a T-Rex?
