On Friday, he demanded on his Truth Social platform that credit card companies cap their interest rates for a year starting Jan. 20.
But when asked just two days later what would happen if credit card companies didn’t comply by Jan. 20, the president seemed to think the request had been codified into law. “Well, then they’re in violation of the law. Very severe things,” he told a reporter aboard Air Force One on Sunday.
People should just retire at a certain age
I think anyone over 45 should be ineligible for president. Older people don’t have enough skin in the game to care about the long term future.
I think all politicians should retire at retirement age and can’t raise the retirement age without a referendum. 45 is pretty fucking young. Like that’s right around the peak of life experience X mental acuity. You still have 20 years of productive capability.
I’m over a decade younger than that and I feel that’s too young
Wait till you’re 60. You’ll think 45 is still pretty young. And I hate to tell you, no politician is thinking much past the next election.
Donald Trump, 79
Don’t get my hopes up like that.
I bet he thinks once he utters a “decree” it becomes law in his dementia addled brain
Nothing he’s done is official because he’s violated his oath of office. He’s not even the fucking president

Try telling that to the Americans and they’ll just shrug and go “what are ya gonna do?”
