    It’s not LLM my dude, chill. AI systems have been in use for military (especially US) for a long time

    EDIT: I say this in full seriousness: Sometimes I feel like Lemmy is catastrophically bad in important decision-making. Worse than reddit in fact. This place sometimes remind me if those hippie communities where logic is thrown out of window and everyone preaches happiness and rainbows.

    Reality is that some of us live in constant threat of getting attacked/invaded and I could not care less about your opinion towards AI. Not many get the privilege of choosing and protesting. I sometimes wonder if you people deeply want countries like Russia, Israel and China winning because your arguments perfectly play in their hands. “just don’t even think about defending yourselves or I will boycott you with my wallet” go fuck yourselves

        You’re missing my point. Not using AI in modern times would be like fighting western weapons with Soviet era weapons. Do you honestly believe EU will use them for malicious purposes?
