Immigrants are dying and being abused in camps, and being shot and beaten when apprehened, which is why people are filming them, Ranee Good and Alex Pretti weren’t obstructing or creating an aggressive situation, and anyone who suggests they were can go fuck themselves to hell.

I was actually surprised to see a lot of comments on r/conservative talking about how the stuff the feds are saying about the second amendment is wrong and unconstitutional, and a good number saying that the killing wasn’t necessary, they’ll ultimately support Trump and ICE over any kind of progressive though but it was interesting. Even the NRA posted about how Pretti was a legal gun owner and there should be an investigation before people jump to conclusions.

The 8 year Border Patrol veteran who shot him seemed to see the gun and unholstered his own, then the moment Alex’s gun was taken away he started shooting. It’s like he saw the justification and realized he could execute him and waited to be safe, at no point is the main murderer in any danger or engaged directly with Alex, he was watching from above until he started shooting.

It’s different when they are actively murdering us. This is an urgent crisis, imagine a violent gang was roaming and blatantly murdering people and abducting children in a city and the government called them heroes? And a decent amount of the local police are friends with that gang. Courts and trials are important also but we need to use whatever means we have to prevent or slow the killing if we have the ability to.

If you were truly helpful you’d say something helpful instead of whatever stupid bullshit you commented. Why not comment a suggestion of a better plan then?

You’re not wrong, but this particular motherfucker has worked for Border Patrol for 8 years. I see a lot of people talking about untrained, inexperienced thugs, and they are, but this is what they do with training and experience.

If I was the one murdered and could be aware of this, I would be massively thankful that at least this moment was caught so clearly, that I didn’t die alone, that maybe it won’t be for nothing and people will see this and have a fire ignited within them to continue the fight.

So many people have been killed just like this before that we never saw and will never know about. The murderer has worked for Border Patrol for 8 years. I would be completely unsurprised to learn he had already murdered others.

We just call them nazis because it’s shorter and there aren’t many original nazis left, the nazis at the time never called themselved that anyway, it’s always been a colloquialism. Though it would be more accurate to call the modern Republicans Neo-Nazis or at least in general fascists. They have taken over the US government and are attempting to start numerous wars which could potentially be seen as a precursor to WW3.

I’m gonna start bringing a portable clothes iron around to get out the creases from activist flags, it’s not a huge deal but it just always irks me a little. Their image would be even more impressive with a nice creaseless flag.

I saw a flag seller in 2020 with a pole flying Trump, Biden, Jolly Roger, USSR, Bass Pro Shop, Weimar Germany, My Little Pony, ACAB, they are the true centrists of our time.

There was wide variation in the methods of redactions, you could do that for some and other tricks to unredact other pages, but most of the redactions weren’t visible, and even the blacked-out pages they did release were only something like 1% of the total files.

Even during the founding of the US there were abolitionists, anti-racists and what we would call today communist and anarchists. US history has been driven by the white supremacist’s agenda, but there has always been a strong push against it. The state has always been a minority as far as the number of people, and I think many ‘Americans’ do see the US as a bastion of freedom for refugees and people of all races. That has been the promoted image of the US, obviously we know the state doesn’t adhere to that idealized version but many people here do seem to see that image as the ‘true America’.

It is necessary to oppose that racist state, but the US government is not really representative of much of the nation of ‘America’.

There are times cops have shot someone 30 or more times, who is clearly absolutely dead and they will still apply bandages and give CPR sometimes to give at least the impression of protecting life. To me the denial of medical care in this situation is even more proof of guilt than the shooting because they can argue they feared for their life in the moment, but they had ample time to provide aid and deliberately blocked it.

The murderer even went to check the body immediately after but then left, I would be unsurprised if he saw she was still potentially alive and they decided to block aid intentionally to make sure she was dead. I assumed she was shot in the face or head 3 or 4 times which would be unlikely to survive, but apparently she was wounded twice in the chest on the right side, once in the forearm and once in the head. I don’t know the specific damage from the shot to the head, it’s most likely she would have at least been in a vegetative state or have severe brain damage if she had lived, but to deny the chance of any aid for over ten minutes would seal the deal of a conviction for murder if I were a jury member in this case.

They are incompetent, but their violence, abuse and murder are deliberate.

Agents are not trained to stand directly in front of a vehicle, all relevant training and manuals instruct officers to avoid standing directly in front of a suspect’s vehicle, and it’s actually not common that drivers are found guilty when accidentally striking a person who is intentionally blocking the path of their vehicle.

I’m not saying she should have done that, I mean she would have a justified reason to fear for her safety and flee even if it meant endangering the officer who was needlessly standing directly in front of her vehicle. In similar situations drivers have been found to not be at fault even if they injured people with their car if they were being surrounded. ICE is violent and unaccountable, repeatedly abusing people’s rights and had no reason to be trying to open her car door or block her.

Just pointing out there are thousands of unsolved missing persons cases, murders get more publicity but if people disappear it doesn’t make as much news and is harder to prosecute even if there is a lot of suspicion of someone who might have abducted and killed the person missing.
