3·29 days agoI put my uptime kuma on the VPS to monitor my home infrastructure from the outside. Let’s me know when things go down much more reliably.
In my opinion, it’s (the service) self-hosted and not home-hosted. Hardware is just a platform.

1·4 months agoIt’s also worth clarifying that ProtonMail doesn’t collect IP addresses by default. Instead, the monitoring/ logging starts after ProtonMail gets a legal request.
They still have to adhere to legal requests.
