it would shatter precedent and could set off lawsuits
Lawsuits would be useless at that point, absolute performance theater.

Only after Carter gets indicted.
Yeah.

OVER THE LINE
except we’re way past those already

Seems really insecure if you ask me.
They worship an ancient god of war who had to tell them to only worship him, and when they didn’t he drown everyone but the family of a dude who slept with his daughters. And then there’s the time he made them wander in a desert for 40 years.
Their god is a petulant, jealous child.

Thanks for the reminder to donate.

Weird. Sh.itjust.works doesn’t hit me with captchas at all, even while on vpn. I’m on voyager for lemmy.
Thou shalt not question the Omnissiah

I thought the women get the hysteria?

I wish we’d had more options in that race but it seems like the DNC doesn’t bother with Missouri so we haven’t had much support getting a broader range of primary candidates. Our ocal groups are getting shit done without the DNC, though.
A little interesting development this election cycle, which, admittedly I only have anecdotal evidence from several large groups to support it: a not insignificant portion of Missouri dems voted in the Republican primaries to keep the most toxic MAGA candidates off the ballot. We live in a red state and can’t count on dems winning in the general and it sucks we have to use this strategy.

KSDK is a local outlet (owned by Nexstar, not better than Sinclair but had to check):
She’s under investigation for hiring her husband as security:
Rep. Cori Bush is under investigation after hiring husband as security
Her husband was investigated for PPP loan fraud but a jury did not unanimously vote guilty. Along with the rest, this still seems suspicious. Still, it could have been a politically motivated investigation.
Cori Bush’s husband avoids conviction for pandemic loan fraud
All these were good reasons to be suspicious of her integrity. Refusing to answer questions about the Tornado relief “charity” is what really drove a lot of people away.

Or we wanted a candidate that doesn’t steal tornado relief money through a charity and won’t answer questions about where it all went.
https://ground.news/article/squad-democrat-refuses-to-answer-where-tornado-relief-donations-went

Cori Bush has a lot of unanswered questions about what she did with millions in tornado relief funds, supposedly in a nonprofit that does not exist. She also hired her husband, who barely escaped prosecution for pandemic loan fraud, as her security using federal money.
This was not a kowtow to mediocrity and People didn’t “votr to support genocide”, they didn’t want to support an openly corrupt politician any more.
I’m extremely disappointed in Bush for all of this because it also fucks up progressives elsewhere if they have to talk about her bullshit.

I’ll take some rosey goat, goat cheese rolled and covered in rosemary.

Have you ever seen the security room at a Walmart? If you ever thought you weren’t on camera in a Walmart, you were. It’s like a casino.
That particular camera looks like it is in a locking case, usually for hight theft items. The bizarre thing here is why the extra security on Sugar in the Raw and what looks like maybe Stevia.

Is there a yacht tracking site like the ones people have used to track private planes?

That is not true. That is the Zero Sum Game Theory they’re playing where one party takes all. What we need is to think more along the lines of Positive Sum, where all parties can win. Otherwise we’re just perpetuating a cycle of false scarcity and hoarding.
Are you the same person whose dad used to say that? I remember someone commenting about it on Lemmy and it has stuck with me. If it is you, thanks, and if not thanks anyway for the reminder that there’s always someone willing to carry water and normalize monsters.
