My objection is to using the phrase “20k’ above Mt. Everest” when that’s an altitude above sea level.


where a helicopter took her 20,945 feet above Mount Everest. After strapping in to her board and freefalling for several minutes, she landed on a flat runway at 12,356 feet
This makes no sense. That puts the starting height at 29029+20945=~50k feet. The Guinness record for highest helicopter flight is 40,820’.
This article says 20945 was the starting height. Saying this is “over” Mt. Everest is rather misleading.
Do you have to provide it explicitly, or is the algorithm inferring it from all of your habits (which you “provide” in the form of clicks and views)?
