The vast majority of Americans speak English in public. People who speak Spanish as their primary language in public are usually assumed to be foreigners.
All countries need dissidents to stay there and change things for the better. Allowing all dissidents to leave inept countries for America is just hurting the inept countries in the long run.
Illegal immigration increased unemployment among black men, and it created an underground economy that hired only illegal immigrants through 3rd parties. The underground illegal employers only spoke Spanish and didn’t hire Americans. Some blacks supported Trump because his efforts increased employment among them.

01·2 months agoThat Wikipedia article contains incorrect info if it applies to habitats outside of Australia or isolated islands. The math doesn’t add up for the vast majority of domesticated cat habitats. Once away from humans, cats have plenty of predators in the wild that would check their population against bird destruction. Also note that some birds prey on cats in the wild.

01·2 months agoThere’s no evidence that domestic cats put pressure on local wildlife. Most domesticated cats live near urban and suburban humans and can keep household rodent populations down. They also have no impact on urban birds like pigeons, sparrows or crows.
