I remember this feeling from Trump’s first term. It was a such a relief with Biden to go back to living normal life and not be checking the news the second I wake up to see what kind of crazy unhinged shit was said, or happened while I was sleeping.

So by not continuing to chase him, they just openly admitted that even they believe the people they’re going after aren’t actually a problem to society, they just don’t like them.
