How do you have a football site and NOT list the NFL or college teams as an option? I do t recognize any of the leagues on that list.

1·2 days agoI hate the idea of “blocking” a user or community, to me I hear “block” and imagine a user who harasses me or posts actual spam, whereas someone who comments politics a lot might also comment non-political stuff I’d like to see, or if an event is big enough I could see cross posts in more niche communities. I wish there was a “show me less of this on the front page” option.

1·2 days agoHow much worse could it really become in terms of politics? It already feels like 60% of posts are politics, and jumps to 90% if you include the “Windows/Google/AI bad, use Linux/Librewolf/Selfhost” posts.

There are plenty of video games that strive somewhere in between, like Cities Skylines, Factorio, Zelda Breath of the Wild, etc
