and since its easier to find colored up sock pics from linux than actual help and support for a problem, the userbase wont grow. also thereis the git gud attitude, and the “why dont you read the 200 page manual” answer. dont expect casuals to change ecosystems, if a LTT employee can only make a bootable usb on the 3rd try.

how its done

incels ruining basic biology words

who exactly gonna stop me from downloading an operating system from massgrave or linuxtracker? bunch of burocratic morons.
since its a bromite fork, it is suppose to be a privacy oriented browser. ton of stuff has been added and filtered out. its just not good enough for everyday use…at least for me.
i honestly tried cromite in the last week, but dark mod is buggy, ublock disables every second day, embedded videos dont show up sometimes, extensions are super slow, ui looks like ass. maybe the reader mode is better just a tad bit…but im back to ironfox.
more or most?

“not power themselfs” ?

which did you choose?

its still declining, just slower

guardian is surviving by slowly becoming a tabloid. not sure if i would have paid for it anyway, and im not sure if this was preventable by paying for it in the first place.

thats so weird. if someone is forced to be on win7, no way they gonna change to linux. there has to be some compatibility issue in the background.

“3,000 people across the three countries” are ready to ditch us tech.

i really wasnt expecting a password manager related tech fearmongering on lemmy today

gzdoom just simply banned ai code, and made a new fork that tries to stay clean. why cant they do the same?

lemmy is a mess since the same community can be found on a different server. same news have 2 comments, but 62 on the other. this thing is just gonna stay as an underground social media until someone solves this.

you need to understand, that most people just open an app and want to watch something random. the apps dont recommend good content, they recommend their own stuff that needs more views to please the shareholders.

they all look and feel the same. all comes down to the content. do they have all your favourite artist? are there any cool playlists?
i wouldnt be worried about the podcasts, if you only listen to them on one device. its just an app.
its an issue for the end user, and a reason why most people dont use it. manufacturer wont make linux drivers cause the market is so small.
