Don’t give them ideas. I can see marketing people getting very excited at the concept of apps with distinct personalities. Suddenly the calculator on your phone is replaced with “Ask Eugene”.

I stopped using Windows on my own machines many years ago. It was probably about the time when the games I was playing ran well enough, so dual booting was just taking up space I could use.

Somehow we settled on a pretty good size for toilet rolls, and there never seems to be a compatibility issue with holders.

At least not for households. Commercial products have their own things going on, but it doesn’t affect most people.

Is there a formal standard, or did we decide not to mess with good enough?
