I really don’t understand these multi-round interviews - what can you possible learn from them? It’s 2 short interviews -> 2-4 week well paid contract -> employment or not. Works every single time unless you are so disorganized that you simply can’t implement this then lack of talen is really the least of your worries.

Yeah, I’m very well aware how double blind works and my point is exactly related to your 2nd paragraph. Be it coincidence or actual real placebo caused healing (which happens) it would be a major perspective trauma and it definitely happens!
Personally I do think that mental states absolutely impact biology through many invisible forces like hormone production and behavior. So getting a placebo and believing that it works can stimulate specific hormone production or healthy behaviors like going for a jog which ends up legit healing the person. It’s easy to see how this could lead someone to a more spiritual or religious point of view because in this experience something like “faith” is legitimately healing them tho not in the way they think.

Not an american but seems like US’ case law is very much precedented here. I don’t have a source at hand but there has been at least a dozen similar cases all sided with the victims. Even official training of ICE explicitly says “do not stand in front of the vehicle ever”.
If there’s no justice here then it’s entirely on lack of will rather than law.

I see nothing but blatant scams, especially on Meta platforms. I don’t mean simple e-commerce scams either where you buy some trash and it never gets sent to you - it’s full on phishing and finance scams.
I just dont understand how are we collectively ok with this - every platform should have the burden of full liability, period. If someone gets their money taken through scam ad not only Meta should pay them back but suffer a 100x fine as well. The unskippable ad is nothing compared to this.
