When flattening a map, there are 4 competing aspects of the globe you can try to preserve: shape, direction, area, and distance. You can’t preserve all 4 at once. You can try to min-max on 1 or 2 (e.g. Mercator preserves direction and shape since that’s what’s needed for sailing), or you can accept some distortions of all 4 in a compromise projection.
It all depends on the purpose of the map.

The safe’s surrounded by an additional steel box on all 4 sides with the door facing up and bolted into the car body the in a way that you’d have to open the safe to get to the bolts, with the other side of the bolts located so you’d have to remove the gas tank to get to it.
The van was actually stolen once before I owned it, and the thieves never did get to the cash in the safe, so I figured it’s a more secure place for my pistol than a safe in my house.

This was their first game, and if they do bring back the team members (with back pay) now that the game is a sucess, I would actually be much more understanding.
So to reduce time spent looking for new jobs, devs should make sure games take even longer to develop and are in even worse shape at release so they have to hold onto the team for bug fixes.
We need societal-level solutions to homelessness. We need housing, free healthcare, free mental healthcare, criminal justice reform, and more. But until we can do that, the reality is, concentrations of the homeless are associated with higher crime, reduced patronage of businesses, and decreased property values.
