I actually hate this. I want to buy a raw chicken and cook the different pieces in different ways. You know, get some orange chicken from the breast and teriyaki chicken from the thighs and turn the rest into soup or whatever. Why is my raw bird $1.50 more than this cooked one? Whatever. I’m not struggling I’ll get the raw one, which is weird to say.

I remember once the heat broke in the middle of winter at my work. I wore a unbranded brownish orange beanie because it was effing cold. I was told to remove it because hats were against dress code. When a customer asked me why I wasn’t wearing my beanie I told them the truth. Management told me to take it off because it violated dress code. I was taken to the back for a disciplinary meeting for being “unprofessional”. Then let me wear the fucking hat if talking about not wearing it is making you look bad.

Here’s the thing, because ice isn’t actually law enforcement, they just wanted to get out of the car and rough him up, there’s no paper trail here. He wasn’t detained, ticketed, whatever. A lot of people are claiming it’s AI and because ICE’s goal isn’t law and order, it’s running around like Eric Carmen screaming “respect my authority” its just that much more difficult to refute claims like that. If anything it makes the case for 1st degree murder if ice and Pretti had a history.
